Preparing the Growing Trays

Spray the organic mats in the growing dish. Mats will soften once wet.

Sowing the Seeds

Sprinkle and trim the seeds evenly. Make sure the seeds are not piled up in the same small area to prevent mold growth.

Keep the growing plates under dark and pressure for an average of 2 days for ideal germination.

When sprouting occurs, take your microgreens out of the box and continue watering from the bottom every day in a light place.

You can consume your microgreens when the petals have matured and the sprouts have started to release their own leaves.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many harvests can I make with this kit?

Microgreens are harvested and consumed when grown, and are single-use as they are cut by leaving the root during this time, it does not produce more than one product. In our experience, you can make 2 large meals from one grow plate.

When would my seeds grow?

Each plant seed in nature has different germination times. For this reason, we have created the Seed Library so that you can get to know each seed you plant closely. Here you can see how long it will take to germinate under the recommended conditions.

By keeping your seeds under intensive care during the germination process, check every day that the media has enough moisture and enough light. When you tilt the plate, you can tell if there is water at the bottom that the roots need.

My seeds died right after germination. Why?

Microsprouts need moisture and light during growth. You will see their necks bow when they are dehydrated. If too much watering is done, there may be mold on the roots. You can easily tell the difference between true mold and natural plant root. Healthy seed roots are hairy and become transparent when wet. Mold is in the form of layers and you will see that it does not disappear when you wet it. In case of mold formation, you should completely remove the area and throw it away.
